Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 10, 2026. This policy explains what ipchase.com collects, what we deliberately do not collect, and how third-party services are involved. The Chinese version at /privacy is authoritative; this translation is provided for convenience.

1. What we collect

IP lookups necessarily use your exit IP address (provided by the network path) to produce the result you asked for. Domain queries, DNS diagnostics, Ping, port probes and speed tests use the target you enter. Fingerprint tests run entirely in your browser. The server keeps standard access logs for security and rate limiting.

2. What we never collect

We do not collect, upload or store any browser fingerprint data. All nine fingerprint categories and the disguise score are computed locally in your browser and displayed only to you. We do not build advertising profiles, do not sell data, and do not share queried IPs with third parties.

3. Caching

To improve performance, IP location and Whois results are cached for 1–24 hours and then automatically deleted. Caches contain no personal identifiers.

4. Anonymous aggregate statistics

The homepage “Network Pulse” shows aggregated ratios of visitor network environments (datacenter share, IPv6 share, regional distribution). These figures come from anonymous per-day counters: we record only classification outcomes (datacenter / residential / mobile, country code), never any individual IP, fingerprint or data that can be traced back to a person. The deduplication key is the first 8 bytes of a sha256 hash — irreversible and not linkable to the original IP — and is cleared within 24 hours. Fingerprint results are never part of any statistic.

5. Advertising & third parties (Google AdSense)

Advertising is the only revenue source that keeps the site free. We display third-party ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies (including the Google advertising cookie) to serve ads based on your prior visits; you can opt out of personalized advertising via Google Ads Settings. Ad content is the responsibility of the ad network; we do not endorse advertised products.

6. Data security

The entire site is served over HTTPS with HSTS; servers run firewall and rate-limiting policies. Raw access logs are retained only for the necessary period.

7. Changes to this policy

Material changes will be published on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
